A playful, site-specific sculpture, installed in the pond at Cockenzie House gardens in summer 2015, responding to the history of Everard F. Im Thurn, an explorer and previous owner of the house, who was allegedly the inspiration behind Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Lost World. The sculpture was developed with my at the time 4-year old son and is in the shape of a life size bronze Plesiosaurus immersed into the duck-pond.
